About Me!
Mahour is an Iranian comic artist and illustrator. She has a BA in Persian miniature, an MFA in Illustration, and is an alumna of the Sequential Artists Workshop. Mahour has been working as a comic artist since 2017. Her first comic won the bronze prize in the Clip Studio International Comic/Manga School Contest (2019). She published her first book in 2020, which won the National Book of the Year by Young Authors Award. Mahour has always strived to create art and stories that reflect her history and culture. Through her work, she hopes to bridge cultural divides.
